Inspiring hope for the Philippine Eagle

In honor of this momentous occasion, Seiko has teamed up with two organizations that are actively working on the habitat and conservation of the endangered bird and the ecosystem of the Sierra Madre mountains.

Through its partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the endangered Philippine Eagle and its rainforest habitat, Seiko has adopted a rescue Philippine Eagle in Davao and named it Eiko which means “flourishing or prosperous child.” Part of the proceeds of the sales from the 2022 Philippine Limited Edition Prospex Watch will go to the foundation for the shelter, care, and food of Eiko.

One will also get to see firsthand how they are contributing to the restoration and rehabilitation of eagles’ habitat, in collaboration with the Eco Matcher. For every purchase of the watch, a tree will be planted in the Sierra Madre region under the buyer’s name. Through the Eco Matcher app, the tree's progress can be tracked along with information about the tree’s species, the exact location where it was planted, and details about its care, among others.
