From the Presage Classic Series—timepieces that embody the essence of Japanese refinement—the Shiro-iro takes its name from the pure white dial, a shade long associated with natural silk. The dial’s subtle texture echoes the softness of silk, a material deeply woven into Japan’s cultural heritage, often found in traditional clothing and interior design.
Protected by dual-curved sapphire crystal, the domed dial is paired with gracefully arched hands and indices. This vintage-inspired arrangement is carefully designed to capture and reflect light, enhancing the watch’s depth and character. The gold-plated case, measuring a compact 36mm, adds warmth and sophistication to the overall design.
Its bracelet pays homage to the retro multi-row metal styles of the 1970s. Composed of seven short links, each only 6mm in length, it offers fluidity, comfort, and a shimmering play of light with every movement.
At its core lies Seiko’s in-house Caliber 6R51, delivering precision within -15/+25 seconds per day and a robust 72-hour power reserve. A transparent caseback reveals the mechanical artistry, underscoring Seiko’s dedication to craftsmanship.
